With all due respect to this elite SEALS team, this
documentary is ridiculous. The event in question is known as
OPERATION EASTERN EXIT, took place over 8 days, resulting in
281 evacuees, including eight ambassadors, 61 Americans, and
39 Soviets, and consisted of a HECK of a lot more active
American military personnel than this 9-man SEAL team. My
brother-in-law was a Marine door-gunner on a Ch-53
Helicopter and there was definitely unfriendly fire being
traded, with the Somalis on the short end of the stick. Just
type EASTERN EXIT into google and get all the details. This
documentary is like saying the Alamo was defended by 9
Texans. Sheesh.
