Video Description

In a special one-off scenario, Eddie’s team takes part in the dramatic capture of a war criminal who is hiding in his base deep behind enemy lines. For this mission, a whole Sabre fighting squadron (incorporating Boat, Air, Mobility and Mountain troops) is deployed for the task. Air Troop sky-dives in from high altitude to recce the target. Boat Troop, in high-speed Gemini dinghies, infiltrates from the sea, dropping off Mountain Troop, which scales the cliffs to set up a secure beach head. The squadron then advances inland to attack the enemy stronghold. Mobility Troop provides covering fire with their machine-guns and mortars. Will Eddie get his man and bring him out alive?

Documentary Description

Led by Eddie Stone, a team of four SAS veterans re-enact a whole range of dramatic scenarios: on the battlefield, behind enemy lines, evasion and interrogation. Stone gives a step-by-step guide to each reconstructed mission and, with high-tech imaging equipment and computer graphics, he explains the team's strategies while his men demonstrate their weapons and their skills and reveal how they escaped death. Features a recreation of a typical SAS mission.
