Scientific ideas are always changing, but often not without a fight. Sue Nelson brings two scientists together to discuss and argue about their strongly-held opinions on issues of fundamental importance to the science that they do. Documentary looking at the clash between evolution and creationism in the USA, and the progress of a state bill in Tennessee that threatened the legality of teaching evolution as fact. First of three documentaries looking at the struggle between religion and science. This programme looks at the debate between evolution and creation, and highlights the situation in America, and the progress of an Anti-Evolution Bill in Tennessee, which bans the teaching of evolution as fact. Interviewees include: Richard Dawkins Eugenie Scott William Provine Kurt Wise РPhD Geologist who rejects scientific evidence and is still a biblical creationist
