Documentary Description
Presenter Ian Gordon takes us along on a 1000-mile (1600km) air rescue mission to help save the rapidly declining populations of Grey Nurse a.k.a Sand Tiger sharks in the wild. Australia's new Melbourne Aquarium needs a young female Grey Nurse to start its captive breeding programme. Ian Gordon takes the eight-foot female Grey Nurse shark from Seaworld on Australia's Sunshine Coast to its new home at the Melbourne Aquarium. Visiting Jervis Bay, Ian also hopes to resolve the mystery of the Port Jackson shark's eggs.
