Pennsylvania State University (Penn State)
The Pennsylvania State University (commonly known as Penn State or PSU) is a state-related, land-grant, space grant public research university located in the University Park area and within State College and College Township in Pennsylvania, United States. The University has 24 campuses throughout the state of Pennsylvania, including a virtual World Campus, with University Park being its largest and most prestigious campus. Penn State University Park is ranked in the top 15 nationally among public universities in the U.S. The enrollment at the Penn State University Park campus is nearly 45,000 with a total enrollment of over 87,000 across its 24 campuses, placing it among the ten largest public universities in the United States. Penn State offers more than 160 majors and administers a $1.23 billion endowment (systemwide).
