Course Description
In this course, Prof. E. Ambikairajah gives 12 video lectures on Digital Signal Processing.
Topics that are discussed in this course are:
- Processing and analysis of continuous (analogue) and discrete-time (digital) signals
- Sampling continuous signals: the sampling theorem, reconstruction, aliasing and the z-transform
- Analogue filters: Butterworth, Chebyshev, elliptic and Bessel filters
- Filter impulse and frequency responses, stability and digital oscillators
- The discrete Fourier transform (DFT) and the fast Fourier transform (FFT)
- Fundamentals of the design and realisation of finite impulse response (FIR) and infinite impulse response (IIR) digital filters
- Linear and non-linear phase
- Multirate processing
