Documentary Description
Bill Nighy narrates a documentary examining the 1967 Summer of Love, during which Britain underwent a social, sexual and pharmacological revolution. Widespread use of LSD, the rise of psychedelia, free love enabled by the newly released contraceptive pill, Anti-Vietnam demos and a campaign to legalise cannabis combined to outrage the establishment. Featuring interviews with Donovan, Bill Wyman, Micky Dolenz, Barbara Hulanicki, Vidal Sassoon, Mary Quant, Johnnie Walker, Tony Benn and others.
