Documentary Description

A programme for the second level course S269. Follows the work of some of the scientists who worked in `Biosphere 2', a sealed structure covering approximately 1.5 hectares in Oracle, Arizona, which encompasses six different ecological biomes and one human habitation area. Highlights the complexity of the biogeochemical cycles on earth and illustrates the linkages between its living organisms, soils, oceans, atmosphere and rocks.
