Course Description
The Endocrine System and Nervous system share the responsibility of maintaining homeostasis. While the nervous system has a fast response, the endocrine system has a slow long-term response and uses hormones as a way of communicating and regulating body tissues. Disturbances in the endocrine system are common and can result in conditions such as Diabetes and Cushing’s disease.
