Welcome to the fourth video of the Lead Guitar Quick-Start Series. In this lesson you will learn how to play the Major Pentatonic Guitar Scale. It's based on the Major Scale that we covered in the last lesson, but instead of using seven notes this scale shape uses five notes for each octave.

You'll start by learning the basic shape of this scale and then you'll be given a chance to apply it over a simple jam-track. As with the Major Scale, you will want to memorize where the root notes of the scale are, so you can emphasize them.
