Welcome to video eleven in the Lead Guitar Quick-Start Series. In this lesson you will learn a few new shapes for the Major Pentatonic Scale. You can think of this video as a chance to earn some "extra credit" after completing the other lessons in this series, because these shapes aren't critical to learn right away.

In fact, it's far more valuable that you learn just one Major Pentatonic Scale shape and develop the ability to use it well than it is to learn all these extra shapes. With that in mind, I encourage you to only explore these shapes after you are already confident with the basic shape covered earlier in this series.
