Lecture Description

邇 is composed of the BuShou of辵 and爾. 辵 depicts a foot walking on the street, while爾 is the picture of several arrows pointing at the same direction. Several arrows shot at the same time, the target is easy to get hit, the deviance is smaller, so 爾 is used to describe something or someplace which is closed and near.
