Lecture Description

This is a video of part of a lecture course in thermal and statistical physics I taught at the Catholic University of Korea in 2013.

This lecture includes:
- effects of heat exchange between two systems on their mutual accessible microstates (0:20)
- derivation of the distribution of energy from the fundamental postulate (9:05)
- Energy distribution in the thermodynamic limit (27:37)
- Proof that statistical definition of temperature implies that at equilibrium the temperatures of the two systems are equal (31:30)
