Lecture Description
In this video we use the correspondence between multiplication and areas of rectangles to solve some area problems arising from figures formed in the grid plane. We mention the historical connection between multiplication and rectangles going back to the ancient Greeks. These kinds of problems allow us to practice using both our addition and multiplication skills!
